Quality and Thorough Inspections

To be considered part of the GM Certified Pre-Owned program, a car must be six years old or less and have a maximum of 75,000 miles. GM professionals inspect qualified vehicles at 172 different points, from major elements like the powertrain to smaller elements like windshield wipers and seating material. If the vehicle fails any part of the inspection, GM will deny it admission into the program or recondition it in order to meet the CPO program's high standards. If any parts of the vehicle have been recalled at any point, GM technicians will also address this and replace parts before it gets the label of GM Certified Pre-Owned.

Warranty

GM Certified Pre-Owned vehicles boast impressive warranty, which give you added peace of mind compared to standard used vehicles. Each GM CPO vehicle comes with two different warranties: a six-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty and a 12-Month/12,000-Mile Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty. The Powertrain Warranty also includes roadside assistance, so it's not just helping you with repairs, but on the road as well. The Powertrain Warranty starts from the time of the vehicle's original in-service date, and the Bumper-to-Bumper from the time you drive it off the lot.

Vehicle History

When buying a pre-owned vehicle, it can be scary not knowing the vehicle's history. However, GM Certified Pre-Owned vehicles all come with a free CARFAX® vehicle history report. This report ensures that every buyer not only knows previous issues with the car, but also knows any accidents or damage it has incurred while being driven. In order to be part of the CPO program, a vehicle must not only pass a Vehicle History Report, but also have a clean title. Knowing this history can make buyers feel more confident in their purchase.
